Ruby Bridges

Ruby Bridges was among the first to be integrated into an all white school. She was sent to an all white school during 1960, when the president declared that all school be integrated. Her story is important to tell because it shows integration from the very beginning from the eyes of a child. It's important to show Ruby's faith during her struggle, just to go to school.
