Rule of three/Filling the silence:
This describes how someone answers a question. The first time they give you the answer they think you want to hear, the second time they explain their answer, and the third time they give you the real answer. This answer is usually prompted by a silence they feel the need to fill with something because they're uncomfortable.
Non question/question:
This is a way of getting people to say things they wouldn't say if prompted by questioning. By simply stating things or talking about your experience you can get people to say interesting things. When you take a break from interrogating them, and make them comfortable, they are more likely to give you good soundbites.
