Lindsey Wanberg may seem like an intelligent involved high school student, but there’s a lot more to her then that. Lindsey, like most suburban raised children was brought up in a safe, enriching environment. However, mistakes can always happen. At around the age of three Lindsey had her first near death experience. While perched on a pool noodle, Lindsey slid off and immediately sank to the bottom of the deep end. While rescue was not far off and she was fine, Lindsey says she’ll never forget the day she almost drowned.
Lindsey has several creative passions, which perfectly fit her warm, bubbly personality. While she admits she has played flute for four years, she says she’s not very good and her real talent is speech. More specifically storytelling; her ability is extremely recognizable as she told of the drowning incident. It wasn’t a surprise at all to find out she has had success in speech and plans to do it again this year.
As for her future plans, Lindsey wants to travel. Already on her well developed list are the countries Spain, Germany, and her special favorite; the Netherlands, along with several others she talked about. Travel plans for her would center on less frequented destinations such as Africa, China, and India, much unlike the stereotypical central European travelers that are so common in young people like Lindsey. Lindsey Wanberg has a fascinating story to tell, and it’s safe to say she will achieve things with her wide array of talents.
