South Minneapolis has been hit with 17 burglaries in the last few weeks. These recent burglaries have been evident in several south Minneapolis areas. Several different items have been taken including: jewelry, cash, electronics, and even a rifle. The burglars have been coming in through windows and garages, and residents have been advised to be on the lookout and to lock all doors, windows, and cars. Residents should also keep valuables out of plain sight and call 911 to report any specific activity.
